Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo recently expressed her stance on the idea of getting married again.

The actress, who is a mother of two and divorced, emphasized that she is not actively seeking to enter into matrimony with her present partner, music executive Paul Okoye, known as Paulo.

Instead, she highlighted the importance of companionship in her life. Sharing her sentiments on her Instagram page, the talented actress conveyed her perspective :

“Marriage – done and dusted. Had kids – done and dusted. Raised my kids – done and dusted. Next stage: Enjoyment! Enjoyment! Enjoyment!”

Ojo stated that her response was intentionally vague to protect her relationship with Paulo. She explained that being “on the same page” means they have mutual understanding and alignment in their relationship.

Despite criticism, Ojo chose to keep details private to preserve the intimacy with Paulo. She emphasized the deep emotional connection they share, which goes beyond just aligning thoughts and desires.

This unity strengthens their bond, allowing them to navigate their journey together with unwavering solidarity and love.

“misleading the young ladies by not believing in marriage,” the actress explained that she “never said she didn’t believe in marriage. I said I have done that character. It didn’t work for me, and I don’t want to go through that route again. I want to enjoy my life with my soul mate.”
