Nigerian cross-dresser James Brown has taken to social media to mourn the longest-serving British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, who he called ‘godmother’.
The Queen was born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, in Mayfair, London, on 21 April 1926, she became queen on February 6, 1952, and was crowned on June 2, 1953.
Queen Elizabeth II reportedly died on Thursday evening at Balmoral, a few hours after doctors raised concern over her health.
A statement from the Buckingham Palace said, “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and the Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”
Reacting to the incident, James Brown also known as the Princess of Africa/Queen of Africa, could not hold back his tears as he called the Queen of England his ‘godmother.’
The Instagram influencer wrote, “My heart is bleeding I can’t believe the woman I look up too is gone
It’s painful that the woman I look up to and admire, thewoman of Grace and Principles has left me in this wicked world, I’ll deeply miss you my GOD MOTHER QUEEN ELIZABETH THE 8th.”
In another post, Brown wrote, “My heart is in deep hole right now
The pain I’m feel cannot be comprehended May you been with the lord my Godmother Queen Elizabeth #QueenElizabethII #wfjamesbrown #jamesbrown
Thanks for supporting me my friend at this hard time
For my Godmother Queen Elizabeth.”
