Popular Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown, has openly disowned his sister, Gracious Brown.
In a post on his Instagram account, he alleged that Gracious had conspired with his next-door neighbor and the neighbor’s wife to physically assault him.
He disclosed that the attack occurred while he was attending a dinner party for his goddaughter, and Gracious was the one who invited the assailants.
James Brown vowed to provide further details in due course.
“I said I have disown Gracious Brown because she support our house neighbor to hurt me, who has been persistence on becoming my friend or should I say enemy in disguise in other to scam me, more info on that. The neighbor & his girlfriend attacked me when I was in the dinner party of my God daughter apparently Gracious invited them personally. The first writeup was a typo graphical error because of anger. More information coming “.
James had previously posted a video showing the aftermath of the alleged attack, along with a caption;
“My obsessive neighbor and his wife did this to me with my sister supporting them. The most painful part”.
Few days back, James made a public announcement expressing his concern about his name being brought up in conversations that do not directly involve him.
He kindly asked people to refrain from discussing him or his personality and clarified that his main focus is on entertaining his fans and helping them forget about the sadness and frustration in Nigeria and the world.
In March, James Brown announced that he would be taking a break from social media.
He archived all his Instagram posts, leaving only one. He explained that he needed this break for the sake of his mental and spiritual well-being.
Few days later, the internet sensation visited his village to seek deliverance after experiencing a spiritual attack.
He shared that he often suffers these attacks after his birthdays. He also mentioned that he sometimes sees his rival, Bobrisky, other drag queens, and his friends in his dreams.
As a result, his father advised him to come home and seek prayers.
