Joe Ajaero not working for APC, says NLC

The Nigeria Labour Congress has Reacted to the Tuesday’s allegation by the leadership of the Labour Party that President Joe Ajaero, has an agreement with the ruling All Progressives Congress to thwart the Labour Party.

Obiora Ifoh, the National Publicity Secretary of Labour party, in his statement accused Ajaero that led the NLC to create crisis within the Labour Party to damage the 2027 general elections ahead.

Prof. Theophilus Ndubuaku, the Deputy President of the NLC Political Commission, reacted to it on Thursday,  debunked the accusation that Ajaero was working for the ruling APC.

He said, “How can the NLC President, who was almost killed in Imo State, be working for the APC? Is that not laughable? With what happened to Ajaero in that state, we could have shut down the country if we wanted to. We only decided to be mature about it.

“How can anybody label Ajaero as an APC member? Unless, of course, you don’t know who he is to the Nigerian labour movement.”
