Elon Musk the owner of social media platform X formally known as Twitter has reactivated the account of American rapper and designer Kanye West.
Talking to Wall Street Journal on Saturday, the company stated that Kanye will not be able to monetize his account, and no ads will appear next to his posts.
The singer’s account which has 31.5 million followers now has a golden verification badge, this indicates that X identifies it as an official business account.
Kanye West account was suspended from the social media platform over violations of it’s rules in December 2022 by inciting violence with his multiple antisemitic comments.
It’s not quite sure if the singer submitted an appeal or if something else prompted the account to be restained.
Kanye West is yet to make post on the platform or make any comment on the recent development.
Recently Elon Musk owner of X sued Mark Zuckerberg for copying his app in creating a new social media app Thread.
