Veteran Nigerian actress and filmaker Kate Henshaw has revealed the demise of her beloved mother and solicits for prayers from fans and friends.

Kate disclosing how she lost her mother on the 1st of march, shared the news of the heartbreaking event with her fans and followers on Instagram.

The 53-year old actress called for prayers to help her steer through her difficult time and also begged that her family be kept in their thoughts.

She wrote on  Instagram,

“Dear friends and fans, It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear mother on March 1st 2024. Your prayers mean the world to me during this difficult time. Please keep my family in your thoughts. REST IN PEACE MUMMY. Love Kate Henshaw.”

Beautiful words of encouragement and prayers have been flooding in for the actress in her timeline.

“So sorry Aunty Kate. May God rest her soul and comfort your family,” Inidima Okojie commented.

BBNaija Khafi prayed, “I’m so sorry to hear this. We thank God for her life and for birthing the wonderful blessing to the world that you are. Sending you and your family lots of love.”

Pastor Nike Adeyemi prayed for her peace saying, “I pray that you be kept in the peace that passes all understanding I Jesus Name.”

Lepacious Bose wrote, “My deepest condolences sis, may the Lord comfort you and yours.”

Just few days into the month of March, the Nollywood industry  had lost two veterans Quadri Oyebamiji Tolani popularly known as Sisi Quadri and John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu on the 1st and 2nd of March respectively.
