Kidnaped Zamfara Chairman’s wife give birth in captivity

The wife of the chairman, Zamfara state union of Local Government Employees Ramatu Yunusa, that was kidnapped on early Tuesday morning, has reportedly given birth to a baby girl in captivity.

WAKADAILY gathered that Ramatu Yunusa was nine months pregnant before she was abducted from her husband’s house in Damba Gusau, the husband Sanusi Mohammed Gusau stated that he was awake when the kidnappers jumped over the fence. And since then the abductor has not contacted him.

He said, “They jumped over the wall and broke my door but before they could enter my room, I was able to hide somewhere. When they searched the house and could not see me, they abducted my pregnant wife, Ramatu.

“She could give birth anytime from now because her expected delivery date is in this week.”

According to reports, the husband noted that he saw the news on Facebook, and he has no doubt about it because she was already due for delivery.

Gusau said, “I have seen the post on Facebook but the bandits are yet to reach out to me. I can agree with the post. She could give birth at anytime because her expected delivery date is around the corner.”
