Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Oluwatobiloba Daniel, most known as Kizz Daniel, has apologised for failing to turn up at his concert in Tanzania on Sunday.

In a video circulating all over the media on Monday, showed the moment Tanzania police arrested the Bugu ‘crooner’ following alleged failure to perform, which angered some fans and led to damaging part of the concert arena.

Few hours later Debiri-Erewa, tweeted on his page that “He has just been released but his lawyers will report to the station tomorrow. He should be home anytime soon”.

In a press conference on Tuesday night streamed on the show promoter’s Instagram page, #str8upvibes_, the singer explained his side of the story, apologised and promised a free show for them on  Friday.

According to him, “This Friday, a free show by the way, I will be partnering with Straight Up Vibes to make that happen.

“I must apologize to the fans. None of this was intentional.”
