The former governor of Kano and the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Rabiu Kwankwaso visit the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Friday in his private residence in Port Harcourt.

Mr Kwankwaso earlier said he is in talk with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi over working together, though it has not yet been clarified what they are discussing.

Also present at the meeting was former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.

Governor Wike has recently been receiving visitors, on Thursday Senate Minority Leader, Philip Aduda visited and other PDP politicians, including other party members, mr Peter Obi also visited on Wednesday. Although the reason for the constant visit is still unknown.

Mr Kwankwaso tweeted on his Twitter page, “Thank you @GovWike for the warm reception.”
