Olusegun Obasanjo, the former president of Nigeria has applauded the customer service of a Nigerian airline, Air Peace.

Obasanjo said his experience on the plane was pleasant from Lagos to London and London to Lagos respectively.

Obasanjo disclosed this during a chat with Nnenna Onyema the daughter of the Chief Executive Officer,of the airline during his trip in a now viral video.

In a post shared on its official X handle on Monday, Obasanjo was seen shaking and complimenting Nnenna on the service he enjoyed.

He said, “Tell your father that I went and came back and I didn’t complain.”

The airline, however, expressed gratitude to the former president for his patronage.

Air Peace wrote, “It was great having the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on our Lagos-London and London-Lagos flights recently. He said, “I went, it was pleasant. I came back, it was even more pleasant.’ Thank you for flying with us, Your Excellency.

In November, Allen Onyema, Air Peace’s Chairman and CEO, disclosed that the airline had successfully obtained the Foreign Carrier Operator Permit and Third Country Operator Permit.

A month after the announcement, it commenced its Lagos-London flight services.
