Laide Bakare was born and raised in Ibadan, Oyo state where she hail from.
She grew up in a family of mostly girls and blessed with one boy, Laide Bakare started getting her fame from her childhood days because her street was named after her father so they are called The Bakare’s.
She attended her primary and secondary school education in her hometown. Olaide Bakare graduated from the famous University of Lagos with a degree in History and Strategic Study, she also holds a diploma in Théâtre Studies from the Premier University in Ibadan, Oyo State.
