Dr. Monsurat Adeleke, The Permanent Secretary of Lagos State Health District III, on behalf of the state government, announced the newly built Iraye-Oke Primary Health Centre, facilitated by Hon. Wale Raji representing Epe Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives.
According to the statement reported on Tuesday, that the health centre, which was completed in 2023, became operational on Monday following its staffing by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
In her keynote speech during the ceremony, Adeleke described the event as a timely intervention for the residents of the area and the state.
She said, “The launch of this health centre, coming at a time when Lagos is contending with cholera cases, couldn’t be more timely. Together, we strive to ensure no one is left behind in accessing quality healthcare.”
In his remarks, Raji thanked the Lagos State government for providing the necessary medical staff and resources crucial for the centre’s operation.
Ismail Akinloye, the Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Ismail Akinloye, vowed his support for the health and well-being of community members. He highlighted the facilitation of the health centre by Raji and the cooperation from the LCDA as evidence of the council’s commitment to multi-sectoral collaboration in providing essential health services.
