Late Mohbad’s cousin and personal assistant Darosha Losobeh has denied breaking the late singers neck as he gives his account of the incident.

In a video making rounds on the internet it was alleged that Darosha broke the deceased neck to enable his body fit into the casket.

Recall that the late singer Mohbad passed away on the 12th of September, 2023 and he was buried the next day in a rush.

Videos from the burial showed the singer’s neck broken in an undersize casket.

But his body was later exhumed by the Nigeria police authority to carry out autopsy  at the clamor for justice by citizens.

Reacting to the allegation of breaking Mohbad’s neck, Darosha urged those behind it to desist. He posted on his  Instagram, lamenting that the allegation was affecting his mental health.

“I’m so down to the extent that I had to write this to clear this whole story about me going online that I bent my love’s neck; this is the craziest and saddest thing that ever happened to me in my whole life. That I broke my brother’s neck, seriously, this hurt me so much.

“What happened about the neck was that when we got to Ikorodu, we were told there was no space to keep his body at the mortuary, and we didn’t want him buried that night. So, a worker there advised the family to pay for an ambulance and a coffin where we can keep him until morning, and the same ambulance would drive him down to the place of burial.

“The whole family agreed to the idea because the ambulance that took us to Ikorodu was complaining that they had to leave the same night back to the island. It was only his mum that was not present there that midnight,” he said.
