A man identified as Nicholas Mwiti Nthiga from kenya was arrested by kenyan police for killing 34-year-old Geofrey Muriungi Makara, in Ntabuta Village, Matakiri Location of Nkondi Ward, Tharaka Nithi county over payment of fish

It was gathered that, the deceased approached Mwiti who was selling fish and wanted to buy but did not have money to pay.

After a quarrel began between them for touching the fish anyhow, Muriungi vowed not to pay and even dismissed people who offered to pay on his behalf.

This angered the fish seller, Nicholas, who picked a cutlass and attacked him with it.

“Immediately the body of the deceased was taken to Marimanti Hospital Morgue awaiting autopsy, while the cutlass was recovered from Nicholas’s residence with blood stains on it.”
