Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mary Njoku, who is currently studying abroad, inquired about the current state of affairs in Nigeria.
She said that it had only been a few weeks since she left the country, but there have already been numerous developments, such as a new National anthem, closure of local airports, power Grid shutdown, and more.
She asked if there were any other updates she should be informed about and urged Nigerians not to shut her out because she missed her home country.

Mary expressed her astonishment at the high level of poverty in Nigeria and questioned what the minimum wage is.
She also expressed her frustration after paying 664 naira at the toll gate.
Mary highlighted how it now takes more than the minimum monthly wage to fill up a car’s gas tank and questioned if she was being overcharged.
Furthermore, Njoku commented on the difference between the value of the dollar and the naira.
As the founder of ROK Studios, she expressed her concern about the current dollar exchange rate and asked Nigerians how they are managing to survive in such a challenging economy.
