She was born on the 12th of April 1979 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
She is the daughter of the legendary actress, Funmi Martins, who died of cardiac arrest in 2002.
Mide Martins completed her secondary education at Community Grammar School in Ibadan before she processed to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, where she bagged a degree in International Relations.
Career
Mide Martins began her acting career in 2001 and made her first acting debut in the movie ‘Mikan Je’.
She was cast in the film Osas, which increased her notoriety (Omoge Benin).
After her mum’s death, she featured in another movie, Arewa, alongside some other Yoruba movie stars like Kareem Adepoju, and Bukky Amos, amongst others.
