Nigerian supermodel Oluchi Onweagba has expressed disapproval towards actress and model Temi Otedola’s recent partnership with L’Oreal Paris.

Wakadaily reported that a few days ago, Temi Otedola announced that she had become the global influencer and face of L’Oreal, the leading cosmetics brand in the world, with a focus on accessible luxury.

She proudly claimed to be the first African Digital ambassador for the brand and expressed her honor in representing Nigeria on a global scale.

However, Oluchi Onweagba took a jab at Temi’s announcement. In her own post, Temi had clarified that she was only the Digital ambassador for the brand, but Oluchi seemed to have missed that detail.

Oluchi pointed out that she was actually the first Nigerian to model for L’Oreal, slamming Temi.

Oluchi emphasized that she doesn’t need to boast about her achievements but she has evidence to prove herself.

Taking a dig at Temi, she mentioned her ability to manipulate and rewrite history using her paid media outlets.

“Legitimate TBT first Nigerian remains first forever. Not a loud speaker but count on me to show you all receipt. I know some of you can ease and rewrite history with your prepaid magical media outlets”.

Netizens came to the support of Temi Otedola as they observed that she referred to herself as the inaugural digital ambassador rather than the first ambassador.

Jose Mina commented, “First African digital ambassador not model. Mmmmmm reading and comprehension was very important in school”.

One, La Doosh Fashion Affairs commented, “She didn’t have to though, the girls is not trying to take it from her”.

Another person, Faith and Motherhood commented, “If you people don’t get out of here with your Digital Ambassador shit. Oluchi’s was only on Punch newspaper right? She wasn’t seen online as L’oreal ambassador right?

And, The Dogged Scientist commented, “Digital ambassador how is this Oluchi not understanding the difference? School is not a scam after all”.

Also, Rose Teekay commented, “Oluchi was a model for the brand, Temi is their digital brand ambassador. Where is the mix up from?”.

Temi Otedola appears to be making progress towards achieving her New Year resolution.

In January, she confidently declared that this year belonged to her and she would overcome any obstacles.

It is worth saying that Wakadaily previously reported that in November 2023, Temi Otedola shared some lesser-known aspects of her life in an interview with popular Nigerian YouTuber Korty.

Despite being the daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, Temi disclosed that she has faced financial difficulties.

At the age of 15, she followed her mother’s advice and took on a summer job to achieve financial independence.

Working at three different retail stores, Temi earned a respectable $1,200, highlighting the importance of her hard-earned money.
