Two people were involved in a collision on the Agbara-Badagry Expressway in Lagos, and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has reported that the injuries to them were moderate to severe.

The collision was reported to have happened near the Badagry expressway’s Ibereko Barracks axis in Lagos State.

This was revealed to reporters by William Manga, Commander of the FRSC Badagry Unit, who also verified that the car accident happened on Monday at approximately 12:54 a.m.

He said that at 1:02 am, police arrived at the site of the collision involving a car and a truck, after the Command was notified at approximately 12:57 am.

He said, “The accident involved a Howo truck with registration number KZR73ZT and a Mazda car with registration number KTU900BK.”

According to Manga, two people were hurt in the accident and taken to the Badagry General Hospital to receive medical attention.

Concurrently, the FRSC determined that speeding and improper overtaking were the causes of the collision.

He also begged drivers to observe the speed limit and perform routine checks, and he cautioned cars using the Agbara-Badagry Expressway to be aware of the single lane that is in place.
