My cows are easier to control than Nigerians – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday night said he cannot wait to fly back to his home in Daura, Katsina State, saying his cows are much easier to control than Nigerians.

The outgoing president spoke at the inauguration Dinner/Gala Night, organised by the Presidential Transition Council (PTC), at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.

Speaking on the outcome of the 2023 elections, Buhari  thanked Nigerians for understanding the importance of voting and that their votes counted.

He claimed that the general elections restored the electorate’s authority in Nigeria.

He said, “I am looking forward to tomorrow to fly to my base and go back to my cows and sheep, which are much easier to control than fellow Nigerians,” Buhari was quoted as saying.

Thanking the heads of state, Buhari said: “Your excellencies, heads of state and government, and their representatives, I thank you very much and I say goodbye to you and wish us the best of luck.”
