Early Life & Education
Nasty C was born on February 11, 1997, in Durban, KwaZulu Natal.
His father David Maviyo Ngcobo, is a human resources manager. Nasty C was raised by his father after he had lost his mother at a very tender age to a ghastly car accident.
He attended Strelitzia Secondary School in Lotus Park, Durban where he completed his 12th grade.
Career
Nasty C started rapping at the age of nine, with influence from his elder brother who is a music producer.
The rapper who originates from Durban eventually picked up music production and began adding his vocals to the beats he was making which he later got signed to Free world music.
His stage name was given to him by the first producer he ever worked with as his dreams of meeting one of his major influences soon became a reality when he met Aka and as such opened an opportunity for him with the launch of AKA’s debut album “Altar Ego”.
Nasty C’s first ever mix-tape “One Kid a Thousand Coffins” was released on May 24th, 2013. He also released an EP “C L.A.M.E (Levitating Above My Enemies” on April 4, 2014.
He also releases a single “Juice Back” off his mix-tape “Price City” in 2015. On January 2016, he was also featured on Casper Nyovest and Anatii’s collaborative single “Jump”.
