Nigerian-British Actor John Boyega names Wizkid is his Favorite Musician

Nigerian-British actor, John Boyega, has revealed that Afrobeat star Wizkid is his favorite musician.

Speaking on a Netflix show, “Rep Your Flag” Boyega made this revelation while sharing some of his favorite things about Nigeria.

The actor was asked about his favourite musician and he replied saying Wizkid was his personal favourite musician, although he loves Bruna Boy and Davido equally. But he has followed Wizkid musical career the most.

John Boyega went as far as showing his love for Wizkid’s music and Afrobeats in his movies to the extend he had the producers of‘Pacific Rim’ add Wizkid’s 2017 single ‘Daddy Yo’ to the movie’s soundtrack.

He also spoke about his favorite place to visit in Nigeria, which is Abukota where his family lives, Lagos for how bubbling and festive it’s get in December, and Abuja for it serenity.

Speaking on his favourite Nigeria dish, the actor said jollof rice was his favourite Nigeria dish.

He also shared that he enjoys Nollywood movies and had been trained by Mike Bamiloye’s ‘Mount Zion Filmes’, naming his best Nollywood movie to be 2003 classic, ‘Blood Sisters’ which starred veteran actresses Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Ekehinde.
