Nigerians applaud Obi after fulfilling pledge to Nasarawa graduate who could not afford N75k oven

Nigerians applaud the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi after fulfilling his promise to Nasarawa graduate, Gimba Sophia who could not afford a N75,000 oven for her baking business.

Wakadaily reports that Obi while addressing international press conference after the just concluded presidential polls insisted that his party won the Saturday’s presidential election and he will explore all legal and peaceful means prove it.

Peter Obi bursted in tears while lamenting the suffering of young Nigerians in the country.

He said: “She has no job, she graduated since 2018. She told me she is learning how to bake. Then I asked her why she is not baking instead of coming here to do this, she said she doesn’t have N75,000 to buy an oven. That is the life you get in Nigeria; people who don’t have N75,000 to buy an oven.”

However, on Saturday Obi via his social media reveal that he has fulfilled his promise to the graduate to help her acquire a Nigerian made oven putting into effect the production-to-consumption philosophy of the Labour Party.

Sharing pictures of the cheque presentation, He wrote: “Today, I fulfilled my pledge to assist Ms Gimba Sophia Emmanuel in her aspiration to acquire an oven and start her baking and confectionery business. Interestingly, she had indicated that she would procure a Nigerian made oven, thus enhancing the value chain and putting into effect the production to consumption mantra.”

When we have 17 year olds in other countries creating life-changing technologies, we should understand as a nation that we are in a crisis and we need to empower our graduates to encourage the future generations to be interested in Education. Thanks”
