NIMC hits 107m in NIN enrolment

Following the enrollment record, the National Identity Management Commission, NIMC has said to have recorded 107,338,44 in the ongoing enrollment of the National Identify Number.

The Director General of the Commission, Odusote Cocker disclosed this in Abuja at a press briefing where she announced her achievements in the last one year in office.

As claimed by the director, the figures was increased by 3.2m, from 104m in December 2023 to 107m as at today.

Odusote, stated that the Commission under her control had attained a milestone not only in the enrollment process, but also in easing the process, by cleaning up the system, stationing latest technology to upgrade their old equipment, upscale capacity of staff and preventing  scammers and extortionist.

She further said that With the ongoing increase in the enrollment centers and 3,656 staff, adding that her target is 200m enrollee from 107m on completion of upgrade of the system and equipping of all NIMC centres soon.
