‘No one is touching me when it comes to love songs’ – Joe Boy

Afrobeat musician Joe Boy, better known as Joseph Akinwale, has recently used the X-Platform to proudly talk about his exceptional musical talent.

He confidently proclaimed that when it comes to creating love songs, nobody can match his skills. He emphasized that this is true not only at present but also in the future.

Some dedicated fans of artists like Chike, Rick Hassani, and Johnny Drille, who are renowned for their love songs, disagreed with his claims in the comment section. However, there were also others who agreed wholeheartedly with Joe Boy’s statement.

In February 2024, Joe Boy confessed his preference for short and attractive women when responding to a tweet criticizing his short songs. He compared his songs to his ideal women – short, sweet, and sexy.

Furthermore, few months back, a Twitter user compared Joe Boy to Tems based on their single covers. Joe Boy took this opportunity to declare his Christianity and claimed that Jesus is the ultimate example of someone who did it better.

This happened after the fan compared Joe Boy’s image of standing on water to Tems’ image of standing on water.

Additionally, it should be noted that Tems had also refuted allegations suggesting that she drew inspiration from the water goddess. She clarified that her inspiration actually stemmed from God, confidently affirming her Christian faith.
