Nordin Amrabat was born on March 31, 1987, Naarden, Netherlands.
He has a younger brother named Sofyan Amrabat, who is also a footballer with the Italian club Fiorentina.
Career
Nordin Amrabat began his football career at the youth level with Omniworld before moving to VVV-Venlo and a year later, he signed for PSV and played in the UEFA Champions League.
He joined Turkey’s Kayserispor and later agreed on a five-year deal to join Galatasary for a reported fee of €8.6 million, on July 12, 2012.
He made his debut for the club in a 3-2 win over Fernabahçe in the 2012 Turkish Super Cup, on August 12, 2012.
He joined the Spanish club Malaga on a six-month loan in January 2014 and scored his first goal for the club in a 2-0 win over Osasuna. He agreed to extend his stay at the club for the full season in August 2014.
He joined the English club Watford for a transfer fee of £6.1 million, on January 18, 2016. He made his debut in a 2-1 victory over Newcastle, where he came on as a substitute for Troy Deeney.
He returned to Spain and agreed to a one-year loan deal with CD Leganes on September 1, 2017.
