Nollywood actor, Rotimi Salami is not yet done giving out his opinion on the high increase case of paternity fraud in Nigeria.
On his Instagram page, he noted that we will all remember one-day that not everyone whose DNA didn’t match cheated. He stated how the big business of exchanging kids at birth from hospitals is something no one has looked into
He went on to suggest that a DNA should be done on mother’s too,as it will go a long way.

Few days ago, Rotimi Salami had aroused the emotions of netizens as he made a strong case for paternity fraud, stating that it should be seen on the same level as like rape crime. He compared the pain and heartache a woman goes through when raped to that of a man when he discovers that the child he has been nurturing belongs to another man.
Upcoming actress, Charity Nnaji while looking into late singer, Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi refusal to undergo a DNA test for their one-year-old son, Liam, schooled Nigerian men telling them that their wives are not innocent if they are standing in for Mohbad’s wife. She advised them to take their kids for DNA tests.
Addressing women, she compared them to witches for letting their husbands nurture another man’s child, as she noted how only a woman knows the true father of their child.
However,veteran actor and producer, Ugezu J Ugezu had talked against the need for DNA. The actor had taken to his Instagram page to admonish men who have formed the habit of conducting paternity tests before accepting a child as theirs.
The actor went on to state that DNA stuff is breaking many homes down and destroying innocent children, as he stated that any child born to an African man is an African man’s child.
