Obasanjo, Remi Tinubu, Fayemi, others for Osuntokun’s book launch

Olusegun Obasanjo, the Former President and  Oluremi Tinubu,the wife of the President, and other dignitaries are set to grace the launch of the book “The Noble Academic and Patriot: A Biography of Emeritus Professor Akinjide Osuntokun,” scheduled for Wednesday.

The Peacebuilding & Human Development Centre, in a Monday statement, invited the public to the book launch which will be held at the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Noble Academic and Patriot is a biography of Professor Jide Osuntokun which spotlights his life as a renowned historian, academic and diplomat and the quintessential impact he has left across the academic and political landscape,” the Chairman, Organising Committee, Matthew Omosebi, stated.

The event will be chaired by former Commonwealth Secretary-General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku; the book reviewer is former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, and the Chief Presenter is the Serving Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare.

Legal icon and founder of Afe Babalola University, Aare Afe Babalola (SAN), is also expected at the event while the Royal Host for the day is the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
