Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the last general election has celebrated his counterpart, Peter Obi as he turned 62 on Wednesday, July 19.
Atiku via his Twitter page described the Labour Party presidential candidate at the 2023 polls as a respectable leader.
Recall that Obi was Atiku’s running mate in the 2019 presidential election, which was a notable highlight of their political careers.
Wishing him a happiest birthday, the former vice-president described the former governor of Anambra State as a source of inspiration to many in his generation.
He wrote: “Happy 62nd birthday to @PeterObi, a respected leader and distinguished former governor of Anambra state and presidential candidate of the Labour Party. Your dedication to service and growth continues to inspire. As you add another year today, I, on behalf of my family and team wish you many more years in good health and vitality.”
Obi earlier told the members of the Obidients family and supporters of the Labour Party not to but him gifts for his 62nd birthday, urging them to visit hospitals, orphanages and schools to donate the gifts to them, saying he won’t celebrate his birthday with the current deplorable state of Nigeria.
