Olubadan celebrate Ladoja at 80

Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, the Olubadan of Ibadan land, has felicitated Oba Rasheed Ladoja, the former Oyo State governor and the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, as he clocked 80.

The Olubadan, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Gbenga Ayoade, described Ladoja as a worthy son of Ibadanland.

Oba Olakulehin expresses his unalloyed gratitude to the God Almighty for spearing the life of Oba Ladoja to witness his 80th birthday celebration.

“On this landmark occasion and joyous celebration of his 80th birthday, on behalf of the Olubadan-In-Council, the good people and residents of Ibadanland, I recognise, celebrate and salute your service to Ibadanland and indeed the state.

You are a worthy son and ambassador of Ibadanland, and we are proud of you and your noble achievements in your eight decades on earth.

“My prayer is that the Almighty will give you many more years in good health and wealth to continue in service to humanity,” the monarch said.

He appreciated Ladoja’s love for peace and unity in Ibadanland and his commitment to the promotion and preservation of Ibadan cultural heritage.
