The former senator Ademola Adeleke, and the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has won his polling unit in the just concluded Osun State gubernatorial election today (Saturday).
Adeleke casted his vote at Unit 009, Ward 02, Abogunde/Sagba, Ede North in Osun. He polled a total of 218 votes while his closest opponent governor Adegboyega Oyetola, of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), scored 23.
Despite having 15 candidates contesting for the governorship seat, Mr Adeleke of PDP and Oyetola of APC are the main focus contestants.
Adeleke earlier said the INEC has improved and that their performance is fantastic, noting that they want the election to be transparent, peaceful, free and fair.
