Osun Election: EFCC arrests three suspected vote buyers

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Saturday arrested three persons suspected to be engaged in vote buying in the ongoing Osun State governorship poll.

The suspects are identified as Jimoh Kazeem, Adeyemo Bahir, and Abidogun Ismail, one of them is said to be an agent for the ruling party APC.

They were arrested by the EFCC officials at Polling Unit 002, Ward 2, Ababu, Isale Osun, Osogbo.

Unconfirmed reports revealed that both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) were involved in vote buying, and the arrest of an APC Agent and his cohorts at the Polling Unit in Isale-Osun confirmed the criminal act of vote buying in the governorship election held in Osun.
