Peter Obi returned from 3 days trip to Egypt 

The former Governor of Anambra State and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has returned from the three days trip to Egypt on Saturday.

WAKADAILY reported that Mr Obi, posted on his Twitter page on Tuesday 14, June 2022, about his trip to Egypt to study the Egyptian power Sector.

He said, “I just departed for Egypt on a 3-day visit as part of my detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria. In Egypt, I am expected to understudy, among others, the Egyptian Power Sector, Education, Planning and Finance Sectors. -PO.”

Obi’s arrival was announced on a popular microblogging site, Twitter. A social activist, who identifies as @Comradephils tweeted, “Leader of the new Nigeria, @peterobi arrives at Abuja Airport in Nigeria…”

While Peter Obi was away, the presidential candidate of NNPP, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, earlier said on BBC Hausa, interview on Saturday about looking forward to NNPP and LP coming together to give Nigeria a chance to live.

He said, “yes we are discussing with Peter Obi, or I will rather say a committee is working to see all that is necessary on teaming up with him, and our friends and relations have been coming to talk to us over the issue.”

“Merging with the Labour Party is very significant at this critical moment especially looking at the fact that the APC and PDP did not pick their Vice Presidential candidates. the Igbo tribe.”
