Phyno Early Life & Education
Azubuike Chibuzo Nelson known as Phyno was born on 9 October 1986, into the family of Mr & Mrs. Azbuike.
He originally hails from Anambra State but was born to and brought up in Enugu State, Nigeria.
Phyno graduated from the prestigious Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu with a degree in Public Administration.
Phyno Career
Phyno started playing drums, piano, and different other instruments while he was in secondary school. When he enrolled in University, Phyno already had a reputation for being a musical genius, and he started selling his beats to different artists.
In 2003, he started producing until 2010 when he relocated to Lagos state and he continued, but as a rapper and producer this time around. He worked with the likes of Flavour, Timaya, J Martin, Mr. Raw, and many more musicians. Phyno always wanted to work with Mr. Raw as he was fond of his rap style. Phyno started recording his debut album, No Guts No Glory in 2012 – although the album was only released in 2014.
His major song was when he produced a song he owned that featured the likes of MI Abaga and others. To hit the limelight, then came Ghost Mode which featured indigenous rapper, Olamide. The single also went ahead to win the best collaboration award.
Phyno through his several notable releases became one of the most reputable and properly-regarded rappers in Nigeria. Phyno also had several hit singles including Fada Fada and others.
