Police arrest Kidnapper ‘John Lyon’ who flaunts dollars on social media

Popular Bayelsa based kidnapper John Lyon also known as Lion white, has been arrested by the Nigeria police force.

In a video making round the Internet on Sunday, John Lyon was seen shirtless, putting on only boxers as he weep like a new born baby pleading for forgiveness.

Spokesperson of Bayelsa state police, Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the arrest to The Cable said the victim is currently in the custody of the command, adding that the command will provide more details about his arrest on Monday.

Lyon who was begging for forgiveness over his alleged crime, saying his wife had just delivered a baby.

“Sir, please forgive me. My wife just born self,” he said in a video while shedding tears. According to him had only kidnapped two times.

A voice suspected to be that a detective asked the suspect in pidgin, “So, are you saying it is only two persons you have joined your gang to kidnap?” to which he responded, “Yes, sir.”, and the policeman concluded, “You are a liar!”

He continued, “I saw you on one of the days when I was almost beaten to death in your den. You slept on a bench while I was being tortured. When we get to the court, I will identify you before the judge.”

John Lyon, who continued weeping paused for a while and said, “Oga, I don’t know anything about your matter.”

Lyon who is known for flaunting worth online and also a strong motivational speaker said in one of his videos “Money is good. Hustle! Hustle!! Hustle!!!” as he displayed bundles of dollars.

The suspect mostly use Church and Bible quotes to cover up. One of his post below.

On numerous Facebook posts, Lyon identified as a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
