Police declare inspector wanted for murder in Anambra 

The Anambra State Police Command has declared Inspector Audu Omadefu, with force number AP No. 362178, wanted for murder in the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Tochukwu Ikenga, disclosed this in a statement in Awka on Tuesday.

“The (Anambra Police) Command urges any member of the public who sees the fugitive or has information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or call the command control room number,” the DSP said.

Ikenga posted some telephone numbers of the police in the state, with an appeal to Nigerians to report to the police whenever they see the wanted inspector.

He also assured the public that any information given in this regard would be treated with utmost confidentiality.

Ikenga however, didn’t share any information regarding the murder.

Cases of police brutality, extortion and harassment of Nigerians have continue across the country despite ban on SARS.
