Social media users are expressing admiration for Davido, a renowned music artist, after he fulfilled his commitment to his fellow musician, Portable.

According to a report by Wakadaily, Davido had previously offered to take Portable out while they were both in the USA.

True to his word, Davido was seen in videos treating Portable and others to a lavish dinner at a high-end restaurant in Atlanta.

He even went the extra mile by gifting Portable a luxurious sneaker and other items.

Portable took to his Instagram page to express his gratitude, acknowledging that he is fortunate to be blessed by Davido.

He also stated that a true helper would not cause unnecessary stress.

“Akoi Grace. @davido don bless me, who go help you no go stress you”.

In the comment section, numerous people commended Davido for his kind and generous nature.

Portable’s relationship with Davido has been turbulent over the years.

In 2022, they had a falling out when Portable supported Davido’s uncle’s political rival.

Portable backed Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while Davido supported Ademola Adeleke, who eventually won the election.

Davido was angered by Portable’s actions and unfollowed him on Instagram.

Portable slammed Davido for this, but their feud didn’t last long. Davido forgave Portable after he publicly apologized and re-followed him.

Last year, Portable surprised many by collaborating with Davido’s opponent, Dammy Krane, to diss Davido in a song. They even shared a video of them recording the track, which took aim at Davido.

This collaboration didn’t sit well with many, especially since Portable had previously asked Davido for a feature and Davido had agreed.

However, Portable had a change of heart and switched back to Davido. He warned Dammy to stop using their song to attack Davido, acknowledging that Davido has been a helpful person in his life.

Portable advised Dammy to confront Davido directly if he had any issues and criticized him for constantly dissing someone who had once helped him.
