She came into the spotlight for her YouTube channel Mostlysane, where she posts comedy videos and other videos about daily happenings.

Early Life & Education

Prajakta Koli was born June 27, 1993, in Mumbai, India while she was raised in Thane alongside her sibling Nishant Koli.

They were both raised by their parents Monji Koli and Archana Koli.

Her father Manoj Koli is a real estate businessman who later became a restaurant, and her mother Archana Koli is a phonetics and language teacher.

She completed her high school education at Vasant Vihar High School in Thane before she proceeded to V.G. Vaze College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in Mulund, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Mass Media.  The college is affiliated with the University of Mumbai.

Career

Prajakta Koli started up as an intern at the radio station Fever 104 FM, and later quit. She launched her comedy YouTube channel in 2015.

She worked with Bollywood actors such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and so on.

Koli performed at the YouTube FanFest in Delhi in 2018 and in Mumbai in 2019. She also recorded a national TV commercial for Whatsapp in December 2018.

She was included in the annual “Cool list” of the gossip magazine Grazia India in January 2020, and also featured on the magazine cover of BW Businessworld as part of their Most Influential Women’s list in April of the same year.

Koli launched her YouTube Originals show Pretty Fit in 2020, where she interviews celebrities like Mithila Palker, Sanya Malhotra, and Neha Kakkar.

She also released a short film Khayali Pulao, in July 2020, and starred in the Netflix series Mismatched in November 2020.
