Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar is demanding that an unknown individual return control of her social media page.
She has been involved in legal disputes with Apostle Suleman and expresses her frustration with only having 1 million followers when she gains hundreds or thousands of new followers daily.
Halima questions the motives of the person holding her page and emphasizes that it should have around 4.5 million followers.
“No way will my page remain on 1 million!! When over 500/1k people follow this page daily! Release my page; what gain will it be for you? Aside the other page. This one is supposed to be in 4.5m or there about”.
Halima was instructed by the High Court last month to give Apostle Johnson Suleman N10m as compensation.
Additionally, the court prohibited the actress from making any more defamatory remarks about him and required her to retract her statement about the religious leader on her Instagram page.
The religious leader had taken legal action against her, seeking N1 billion in damages, following her accusations of their intimate relationship.
To refresh your memory, for a period of three months, Halima spoke openly about her relationship with the clergyman, explaining how he approached her and how their affair began.
The actress, who was unwell at the time, insisted that she had no knowledge of Suleman’s marital status, as he had informed her that he was separated.
She pleaded with him numerous times to reconcile with his wife, but he refused.
Halima claimed that Apostle Suleman proposed to her on seven occasions, but she turned him down each time.
Undeterred by her rejections, he involved her parents in their relationship and even had a wedding introduction with her.
She also blamed her illness on him, and her family took to social media to call out the clergyman and ask him to stay away from her.
However, there were allegations that the actress was actually battling an autoimmune disease, which she denied by sharing her medical report.
In November of last year, Halima made her first public appearance since the controversy, attending the Governorship election in Kogi State in a stylish manner.
This year, Halima is starting afresh by announcing her return to Nollywood, much to the excitement of her fans who are eager to see her back on the screen.
