Sango market on fire as 24 shops got burnt

As regards the fire incident that happened at Sango market in ibadan, the General manager of Oyo State Fire Service, Yemi Adeyinka stated that a total number of 24 shops were affected by the Incident .

Mr Adeyinka told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ibadan that, no life was lost, however the firefighters have been able to put the situation under control, and an update about the incident will be provided later.

It was gathered that goods worth millions of Naira were lost in the fire incident.

Some of the affected shop owners lamented that they were now faced with the task of rebuilding their shops and businesses

They however, called on the government and other well-meaning Nigerians to come to their aid.

A source confirmed to newsmen that the fire outbreak was likely cause by an electric spark.

NAN reports that this fire incident occurred barely three days after one that happened at Ire Akari Estate in Soka, Ibadan.
