Former Big Brother Naija housemates, Gifty Powers has berated award-winning singer, Rema after Ethiopian Orthodox Church cancelled his concert over alleged ‘demonic’ necklace.
The Concert was billed for the Sheraton hotel in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia September 9, 2023.
However, an Ethiopian woman who spoke with Nigerian journalist said the country’s “powerful” Orthodox Church leaders accused the singer of being a “devil worshipper” over his customised necklace.
In the artwork used for the concert, Nigerian Afrobeat star wore a customised necklace that had a burning church and inverted crosses.
Reacting to this, the reality star slammed Rema for promoting satanic themes through his songs and imagery.
The mother of one said she carried out her own investigation on the necklace and found out that it was true about Rema advocating satanism in his art.
