Nollywood actress and movie producer Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi is on fire again over her congratulatory messages for her colleague and long-time friend, Kehinde Bankole, as she bagged an award at the just ended AMVCA ceremony.
It was reported that on the 10th edition of the award ceremony, Kehinde Bankole beat other aspiring nominees to win the Best Lead Actress for her outstanding role in Adire. This would be the second time the movie star has won the Best Actress title as she first won it in 2015.
In a video on social media, Toyin was cheering Kehinde towards her win, calling her the best actress in Africa. The video showed Kehinde in the centre as Toyin rounded her, pouring praises on her.
Lot’s of netizens,threw her under fire as they oppined she was being overly joyous because her rival funke Akindele did not win any award.

After the AMVCA, Toyin had triggered the rivalry between her and Funke Akindele after she penned a note to the Executive Head of Multichoice, Bisola Tejumola, following the 10th, declaring this year’s event as the best and realest. sending appreciations, she noted that she did well and poured love for her.
Her post didn’t go well with lot’s of people who stated she was taking a dig at her rival, Funke, who lost all her nominations and as such, they trailed her comment section to bash her thoroughly. obviously because of the negative comments, Toyin Abraham took down the post.
It is well known that there have been an ongoing war between the two movie stars, for years years and it doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.
Consequently, the two actresses took down on their pride last year after Toyin Abraham celebrated Funke on her birthday, and she did the same. Toyin had also attended Funke Akindele’s movie premiere, which further shut down rumours of fights between the movie stars.
Recently ,Toyin wrote an open letter to Funke, revealing how fan wars started their unnecessary drama and congratulated her for achieving the one billion landmark in the cinema. Funke replied to the post, wishing Toyin well in her endeavors.
After sometime ,she fueled the movie battle with Funke after she announced her newest project, a sequel to her popular movie, Alakada, which will premiere in December. The news left many divided as some stated that she was only trying to go on the footsteps of funke akindele, who announced a week before her that she was releasing a sequel to her hit movie, Jenifa.
Thereafter, she shared a touching post, pointing out that no one is perfect, as she stated how people make mistakes. nevertheless, they get up, learn, grow, move on and continue to live life.
