Deja, the daughter of music couple Adekunle Gold and Simi, is celebrating her 4th birthday today, May 30th.

Simi, her mother, expressed her excitement on social media and shared a video of herself and Deja.

In the post, she stated that sometimes she prays for more space in her heart because her love for Deja is overwhelming.

She revealed that when she prayed for her daughter, God assured her that He would do great things.

Simi described Deja as her light, heart, best friend, twin, joy, and a beautiful little fireball.

She also expressed that if she had more space, she would love her even more.

On Deja’s third birthday last year, Simi wrote a song dedicated to her.

In the song, Simi conveyed her difficulty in finding the right words to express her deep love and affection for her daughter.

She emphasized that her daughter means everything to her and promised to gather herself and be strong for her sake.

Adekunle Gold wrote a heartfelt message to Simi, expressing that he has many wonderful stories about her, but his favorite was when she reached out to him and showed her pride in him by asking him to carry her.

To celebrate her birthday, the proud parents organized a blue-themed party for their daughter, which Simi shared on her Instagram page along with a message of gratitude.

Few weeks ago, the couple celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary by releasing a music video and reflecting on their five years together, expressing their happiness that their marriage is thriving.

Adekunle Gold and Simi got married in 2019 and welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Deja, in 2020.
