Popular Street pop singer, Portable’s Instagram account has been hacked.
The management team of the singer made this announcement to notify the public that the singer is not in control of his account as it has been hacked.
The singer’s manager, Bolaji Serah, posted on her Instagram page on the 30th of August, 2023, alerting Portable fans to tread with caution with their association with the account from now.
Her statement read, “We regret to inform you that Portable’s official Instagram account has been hacked and taken over by unknown fraudsters. We understand that this incident may cause concern and confusion among our loyal fans, and we want to assure you that we are actively working to resolve this issue. It has come to our attention that the hackers are impersonating Portable and are likely to be using the account to spread false information, scams, and potentially harmful content. We strongly advise all fans to disregard any messages, posts, or requests coming from the compromised account.”
The warning post came as a result of the hacker making a post to promote a wellness product on Tuesday night 29th of August, 2023, after hijacking the page, letting fans of the singer know that neither the singer or his manager has control of whatever is been posted on the page till they are able to resolve the issue.
