[ez-toc]iNigerian Singer, writer and producer, Simi, opens up on her postpartum struggles as she recounts how pregnancy affected her sight.
She narrated this in a video posted on her TikTok account that she titled a ‘sob story’, she stated that she has to wear glasses now due to the condition of her sight.
Simi also went on to explain how she noticed her vision was getting bad after giving birth to her daughter who is now three years old, and that the condition kept getting worse until she had to see an optician three months ago.
“My daughter is 3 years old, and since I gave birth to her my eyes have not been the same. I feel like I had 20/20 vision, but not anymore”, she said.
She noted that after seeing the doctor and undergoing some eyes tests, she was told that she needed to use medicated glasses to manage her sight.
At time of the video Simi was still on tour for the ‘Keys to the City’ with Alicia in the US but she eventually picked up the glasses and isn’t so happy to be wearing them.
“Three months ago, I was like something is not tallying here, it’s like I’m seeing double. So I went for an eye scan and the Doctor said that I need glasses, I got a message a few days ago that my glasses are ready”.
