Artist May D and actor Uche Maduagwu were recently witnessed engaging in a public altercation, which came as a surprise to many.
A video capturing the incident has circulated on social media, showing both individuals physically involved in what appears to be a fight. However, another person can be seen attempting to intervene and separate them.
During the altercation, Singer May D becomes visibly agitated and makes a move towards Uche Maduagwu. Nevertheless, some internet users speculated that the entire incident could have been staged, particularly considering Uche Maduagwu’s reputation.
In 2022, Nollywood actor Jim Iyke engaged in a social media feud with Uche Maduagwu. A video circulated online showing Jim Iyke forcefully entering Uche’s apartment and physically attacking him. However, both individuals later revealed that it was a planned stunt for promotional purposes.
Jim Iyke clarified that he had invested over $200 million in promoting his movie and that the altercation was never intended to be a real fight. He admitted that it was solely for the purpose of gaining attention and popularity.
Furthermore, in January 2024, Wakadaily reported that Uche Maduagwu claimed to have revived Jim Iyke’s career. In an interview, the media personality explained that the staged incident was orchestrated to bring Jim Iyke’s declining career back to life.
Also remember that in January 2024, Uche criticized Yul Edochie for not understanding the Igbo culture. Yul had stated that he didn’t understand why his ex-wife May Edochie hadn’t returned the dowry he paid.
However, Maduagwu criticized Yul and stated that he didn’t comprehend why Yul was struggling to grasp the Igbo culture.
He accused Yul Edochie of being spiritually confused. He questioned Yul’s concern about May dropping his last name before the divorce was finalized, as he believed there was no legal obligation for a woman to give up her ex-husband’s name, especially if she played a significant role in his success.
