Skiibii Early Life & Education

Skiibii was born on the 5th of July 1992 in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria, where he was raised.

He had his primary education at  Victoria children’s school, while his secondary education was at  GCL Government College.

Skiibii obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication at the University of Ado Ekiti.

Skiibii Musical Career

Skiibii began to showcase his talent at an early age back in the secondary school period as he uses to compose a rap-free style before he switched to his R&B style of music.

He faced numerous challenges while growing up, especially when he had to tell his parents about his choice of career. His father in particular was against his wish to delve into music.

Skiibii continued to believe in his dreams till he started his music career professionally after being signed by Five Star Music founded and owned by Emoney on December 24, 2014, which was included with a special package of a brand new 2014 Hyundai SUV.

Skiibii released his first official single titled “Stay With Me” in January 2015 featuring Kcee. He also featured on the producer, Chimbalin’s single “Kilimanjaro”.

In August 2015, he was said to have pulled a stunt by faking his own death. Of course, it didn’t go well with fans but the main thing is that he did get the fame.

He parted ways with Five Star Music record label and had to float his own record “More Grace Music”.
