Soludo eulogizes Obasanjo on 87th birthday celebration

Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Executive Governor of Anambra has commemorated Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on his 87th birthday celebration.

The Governor gave a remark acknowledging Obasanjo as an epitome of leadership in Nigeria and Africa at large.

This was mentioned In a press statement made by the Press Secretary to Governor Soludo, Mr. Christian Aburime on Tuesday.

The governor highlighted that Obasanjo’s journey was characterized by remarkable accomplishments, an unmatched devotion to public service, and an exceptional commitment to the advancement and peace of the country and the African continent.

He said, “His visionary leadership has left an indelible mark on the political landscape of Nigeria in a way that continues to inspire successive leaders.

“Throughout his illustrious life, Obasanjo has demonstrated exceptional wisdom and statesmanlike qualities that continue to guide Nigeria through the complexities of changing times.

“His relentless pursuit of peace, unity, and progress, as well as his steadfast resolve in fostering dialogue on critical issues such as governance, economic development, and regional stability has earned him respect and admiration at home and abroad.

“In addition to his contributions to governance and diplomacy, Obasanjo remains a symbol of resilience and courage in the face of adversity.”

The governor says that everyone who wants to create a more equal and democratic society should find inspiration in Obasanjo’s commitment to these principles.

In hopes for Obasanjo to continue serving as a pillar of support and direction for Nigeria and Africa while his incredible legacy lives on for future generations.

He prayed for God to grant him many more years of robust health, happiness, fulfillment, and vitality.
