Nigerian film producer, Stanley Nwoko, has addressed the concerns of those questioning why the word ‘Husband’ was not included in the obituary of the late actor, Junior Pope.
Earlier today, Wakadaily reported that the family of Junior Pope had released the details of his funeral arrangements.
The actor will be laid to rest on May 17th, 2024, in his hometown in Enugu state. Some observant fans noticed that the word ‘husband’ was noticeably absent from the obituary poster, causing speculation as Junior Pope was married to Jennifer Awele and they have three sons.
In response, Stanley expressed his desire to voice his thoughts, but Nigerians silenced him. He stated having a wealth of information, but refrained from speaking up because no one believed him in the past.
Stanley encouraged those curious about the omission of the husband in the obituary poster to approach Junior Pope’s brother for answers.

It is common knowledge that the actor passed away two weeks ago after drowning in the Anam River while returning from a movie shoot. The actor, along with five others, tragically lost their lives in the boat accident.
Before his death, his colleague Dave Ogbeni hinted that there were issues in the actor’s marriage, sharing his last interaction with JP. He claimed that the actor had confided in him about his deteriorating health and expressed a desire to share his story with bloggers, but Dave convinced him not to.
Supporting this claim, a Twitter user named Papi Jnr made a serious accusation against Junior Pope’s wife, Jennifer Awele, alleging that she engaged in relationships with wealthy men. He stated that the event planner had caused difficulties in the actor’s life, and their marriage was already on shaky ground before news of his death emerged.
Many people found this news hard to believe, considering how family-oriented Junior Pope and his wife appeared to be. In July 2023, they celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary with a heartfelt photo and loving words.
