Popular American television host, comedian and actor, Steve Harvey has reacted to alleged infidelity in his marriage with his wife, Marjorie Bridges Harvey.
On Sunday, the internet awash with rumours that Marjorie is currently “seeking divorce after she was caught having an extramarital affair with their chef and bodyguard”.
The report also claimed that “Marjorie Bridges had filed for divorce through her lawyers and she is seeking half of Steve’s $400 million net worth”.
Reacting to the report, the 66-year-old comedian on Sunday at an Invest Fest 2023 in Atlanta, affirmed that his wife never cheated on him with their bodyguard.
The media personality said: “Before I get started, just let me say, I’m fine. Marjorie’s fine.
“I don’t know what y’all doing, but find something else to do ’cause we fine. Lord have mercy. Man.
“I ain’t got no time for rumours and gossip. God’s been good to me, I’m still shining”.
Steve Harvey and his wife, Bridges first met in 1990. The couple got married 17 years later in 2007.
Recall that Nigerian businessman, Ned Nwoko, who is a close friend of the TV host had earlier debunked the reports of marital crisis between Harvey and his wife.
Sharing their pictures on his instagram page, the husband to popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels described the rumours as fake news, adding that the couple are happy together.
The Senator wrote, “Fake news has been taken to new heights all over the world and this is so unfortunate.
We experience this practically every day and so when we read about our friend Steve Harvey and his lovely wife having issues, we had to contact Him and He confirmed that he and his wife are very much okay and it’s all fake news and should be disregarded.
The family is happy together and we wish them all the best,” he said.
