Popular blogger Tunde Ednut has expressed his joy on social media after his friend, Very Dark Man, was released.
It is no longer a surprise that the social media activist was freed last night, and pictures of him after his release have been circulating online.
Expressing his joy on his Instagram account, Tunde warmly greeted him back and acknowledged the influential role men play behind the scenes. Although he didn’t specifically mention any names, he dropped a subtle hint.
“Don’t play!!! Welcome back home. Men dey behind the scene. You enter, dem go comot you. Strong men dey!! Make I no mention too many names. You can know some of them from my previous post”.
Also celebrating over the news, upon his release, cubana chief priest,drew a parallel between him and Jesus Christ, as both were set free on Easter Day. He disclosed that, much like Jesus, he emerged on Easter Sunday.
Wakadaily reported a week back that actress, Tonto Dikeh, took legal action against a socialite who had been cyberbullying and making life-threatening remarks. Note that the socialite had previously accused the actress of being involved in the creation of the GistLover blog, resulting in numerous death threats from the blog’s haters.However, the actress retaliated by arresting the socialite due to his baseless accusations that lacked any supporting evidence.
The individual who activist on social media was initially expected to be held in detention for just three days. However, due to the strict requirements of his bail and the influential forces responsible for his arrest, he ended up spending additional days confined in a prison cell.
Tunde Ednut has commented that the socialite’s popularity is expected to increase upon his release from detention.
To elaborate, he mentioned that in Nigeria, a significant number of individuals who have been apprehended tend to gain greater popularity upon their release. He emphasized that the essential aspect lies in the actions taken by these individuals after their release.
Tagging him,Nkechi who has dispute with VDM expressed curiosity about how his popularity has benefited Nigeria and whether it would lead to lower prices of goods in the market. She pointed out that even if the government tries to harm someone, their influential connections would not be able to protect them.
Blasting him for carelessly littering, she observed how anyone can quickly join in on popular issues to remain relevant because of the availability of data and the use of ring lights. The famous actor further emphasized that people should know the important of keeping quiet.
